Video Production Costs and Estimate Guidelines

Video Production Costs and Estimates

We create videos that convey the appeal of a company's technology, experience, and people. We propose production content and costs tailored to your objectives, whether for corporate videos, construction & civil engineering, educational videos, or in-house production.

The prices listed are reference budgets before tax. We will discuss your objectives and priorities for each consultation, determine the necessary work such as shooting days and editing scope, and provide an estimate. Production details and delivery dates can be confirmed in the estimate.

Four Areas

Corporate Video

Company introductions, recruitment, product/service introductions. We organize who to reach and what to convey, then plan, shoot, and edit. We provide cost estimates and estimation methods below.

Construction & Civil Engineering

Progress records of construction, reports to clients, public relations for the local community, etc. We will provide an estimate based on the frequency of on-site shooting, recording methods, and drone photography as needed.

Educational Video

Training, safety education, work procedures, and skill transfer videos. We will provide an estimate based on the number of training materials, their structure, shooting locations, and ease of updates.

In-house Video Production

Support for continuing in-house shooting, editing, and operation. We will propose a plan based on your current situation, training content, number of visits, and support period.

Estimated Costs for Corporate Videos

Reference Budget: ¥450,000 (excluding tax)
This is an example to help you understand the cost of corporate videos. This is a reference amount that has been published in the past and does not represent the price of a standard package or the minimum cost. We will propose the necessary work according to your budget after understanding your objectives and production scope.

For example, the estimated amount will vary depending on the number of interviewees, shooting days, shooting locations, editing scope, and whether subtitles or narration are included. The scope of work, revision limits, and delivery format will be clearly stated in the estimate.

Main Conditions Affecting Estimate Amount

Planning and Interviews

Organizing the target audience and content, interviews, structuring, and script requirements.

Shooting

Number of visits, days, locations, required personnel and equipment. For site records, we also confirm shooting frequency and flight conditions.

Editing and Delivery

Amount of footage, number of videos, subtitles/graphics/narration, output for different uses, etc.

For construction/civil engineering and educational videos, the work varies depending on the number of site visits or training materials, so we will provide an estimate after discussing the details. Please consult us for drone photography for purposes such as construction progress records, reports, and public relations.

Costs for In-House Video Production Support

The monthly fee of \u00a5250,000 (excluding tax) is a reference amount for the support plans previously offered. The final cost will vary depending on the specific support needed, such as training, on-site guidance, and production assistance, as well as the number of visits and duration. The scope of services and contract period will be clearly stated in the estimate and contract.

About Costs and Process

First, we will ask about the intended use, the message you want to convey, where it will be published, your budget, and your desired timeline. We will then organize the necessary tasks for planning, shooting, editing, and delivery, and provide you with an estimate detailing the included services and the conditions under which additional costs may apply. We will also explain in advance any costs required for travel, accommodation, external talent, music, etc.

The cost and production period are not determined solely by the length of the video. Even if your budget is not yet finalized, we can help you organize your priorities. If you have a desired release or usage date, please let us know during our initial consultation.

About Revisions and Additional Work

The scope and number of revisions will be outlined in the estimate based on the production content. If changes are required after the structure is finalized, or if additional shooting or delivery formats are needed, we will proceed after confirming the impact on costs and delivery time.

Please refer to the Video Production Process for each stage of production. If you are unsure about the content or budget, you can still consult with us through the Inquiry Form.

Information to Provide for Estimate Consultation

Please fill in the inquiry section with the following information to the best of your ability. It is okay to write "Undecided" for items that are not yet determined.

Purpose and Audience
What do you want to convey, and who is the intended audience? Example: Reporting construction progress to the client, conveying job details to applicants.
Usage Location and Desired Timing
Where will it be used (e.g., internal training, presentations, website) and your desired release/usage date. Please also let us know if you have any preferences regarding the number or length of videos.
Shooting and Existing Materials

Budget and Priorities
Your budget range or upper limit, and the content you particularly want to emphasize. If your budget is undecided, please let us know.

For Inquiries Regarding Construction and Civil Engineering Videos

The site location, construction period, processes you wish to document, and shooting frequency will also be helpful. For explanatory videos for completion inspections, please inform us of the inspection schedule, any unique innovations or construction characteristics you wish to explain, and the availability of existing materials. For more details, please see Explanatory Videos for Completion Inspections, and for regular recording, Sora Repo.

Please do not include confidential documents or detailed site plans in the initial inquiry form. We will discuss separately how to share such information.
